From 2001-2025, the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) was an international non-governmental organization dedicated to strengthening the rule of law, empowering legal professionals, and promoting equal access to justice—particularly in contexts of conflict, crisis, and democratic transition. In 2025, the CEELI Institute was selected to carry forward ILAC’s legacy and make its extensive rule-of-law resources available on this legacy website.
