ILAC Council
According to the By-Laws of ILAC, the Council shall be composed of twenty-one members, representing ILAC member organisations or individual members. The four founding organisations of ILAC, the International Bar Association, l'Union Internationale des Avocats, the International Commission of Jurists and the Swedish Bar Association were, at the first Annual General Meeting in 2002, elected for a period of ten years. Other members are elected by Annual General Meeting (AGM) for a period of two years.
